Default itr suspension on rs

i would like to know how much of a drop i would get if i were to put on itr shocks and springs. And would i be satisfied? the car would just be used for cruising and occasionally racing. Pics would help a whole lot. Oh yeah, this is for a 3rd gen. Any replies would be greatly appreciated.

you'll need itr rear lca to use itr shocks.

you can use the springs if you want. and i think it's like 1 " lower.

Just curious, how much are you getting this ITR suspension for? The drop is actually less than an inch; if you're planning to do road racing/auto-x there are more affordable susp systems out there that will suit you just fine, if not better.

hmm, so its not really worth it? im not planning to do any auto-x any time soon. I just need something to make my car not look like an suv and to not be very crappy. How about just a set of lowering springs? Its mostly just for street/drag racing...i know street racing is bad...

Depends on your budget...

I like my setup, ground control + koni yellows...about $300 for GC's, $500 for shocks, but you get to adjust your ride height (and shock rebound to some extent). Which means you can slam it 4" for the Sat. nite iCy hot cruise scene, and raise it 2" for normal use. Ground Control makes a special edition version that can be used with most shocks (since the konis are a tad pricey)

Lowering springs work fine...it's just that you're stuck with the ride height it gives you, and some ppl have issues with uneven lowering. If you do a search for lowering springs I'm sure you'll find what you need.

If all you really want is for your car to be lower then by all means go ahead and get some not-too-agressive lowering springs. You'll notice a bit of an increase in ride firmness but since the stock shocks are there you won't see a huge change in ride quality or handling. Just stick with a lowering spring that's neither too stiff nor lowers the car too much. Eibach Pro Kit, H&R OE Sport, Neuspeed SofSport, etc will give you a modest drop and work alright with the stock shocks.
