Default back pressure

this guy from work who has built a few SC 65-67 COBRAs said that putting 3" exhaust from the turbo back would be bad for my car. He said there wouldnt be enough back pressure and the turbo would not function properly. BEFORE i continue with buying 3" exhuast shit is he right. I plan on buildin gthe block to run higher boost so i do wanna plan ahead but will this be BAD until then?

not always, if it's too big the air can start ot come back to the turbo, making it harder to spin... you want the air to have a syphon effect still.

Yes. That is way too big for most, if not all, naturally aspirated Hondas.

I believe thats the size of the magnaflow exhaust tip. Can that hurt my engine? It seems to be about the same size as its opposing companies products(i.e. Apexi N1)
