Default Engine startup troubles

What's up guys, new to this forum and wanted to thank in advance anyone who has the patients to deal with my dilemma. Here is the problem, I have all sorts of engine mods in my 94 LS Integra and this car is running great. Just purchased this car about 7 months ago and I have added lots of after market mods. My problem is last night I finally got the balls to wash the engine bay after hearing how easy and simple it could be and did just that. Right after I finished washing the engine bay with the distributor and air filter covered the car started up, then drove it to the shade to dry it up which took 1/2 hour but then this is when I couldn't get it started any more. Turns out 4 nice street bums really helped me out when they told me after hearing me trying to crank the car on that all I needed to do was let it sit awhile so what ever I wet could dry. They even bought me a quick drying electrical solution that has alcohol to help dry up the water. They told me to spray the inside of the distributor and dam it worked. When I got home the next day it just wont and didn't start up.
The car cranks over and got's juice in the battery but my MSD setup doesn't show a spark inside the distributor. I am thinking the little wheel inside the distributor needs replacement or the coil. Please help, if I don't fire this up myself I will need to call a mechanic by the end of the week. I just feel there is nothing more satisfying than getting something fixed your self especially after spending some good money on it. The funny thing is everything was running great the night before, I had just finished running a 15.3 at 89 miles per hour with this automatic 3 door. I am not mechanically inclined but would really like to get this done on my own.

Is the rotor in your distributor loose. My G/F's was and her car just shut right off

I think its your fuel system. Replace your filter and put some injector treatment in and see what that does.

So wait, you don't have spark at all at any of the plugs? This sounds ignition related, not fuel related.

no CEL's?, it seems ignition related... he said that he wasn't getting spark... what are all the mods you have done to your car... are you SURE that your distributor was completely dry when u went to start it up the next time... have you inspected the inside of the distributor to see if the rotor is making contact with the wires and if it is completely dry...

please stop hijacking threads... you will just be ignored.
when u go into the integra forum... the top left underneath the main menu, has a "new thread" button... use that...

there is also a handy "search" button that works very well also... check em both out and get back to us

Try having your rotor coils changed.
