Default shock mount bushing greasing...

What would happen if i was to take off the nut for the shock mounts, i want to grease the bushing w/ silicon spray (not planning to jack up the car or anything) . If you look at the link, i want to take off #16 and grease #7

link

i'm afraid i wont be able to put the nut back in, or something else might go wrong (that i cant think of)

nothing...as long as you dont jack up the car....yu will be fine. that bushing should be pretty tight in there but you can push on the hood a little to make that bushings pop up slighlty so that you can get a screwdriver in there or whatever. use an impact when tightening back down that nut....otherwise the strut will spin freely.
