Default climate control question

well, my girl friend broke the slider for the hot/cold on my climate control on my 94 LS. me question is would a 96 spec type R climate control plug up to my existing harness without any mods? would the OBD1-2 make a difference?

The slider??? Wow, those things are supposed to be tough. You sure it was not the cable?

Hmmm. I say check out cable first and go from there. If you really like her, then just fix the cable. If not, get her to buy whole thing.

It fit in my 2000 LS without modification, so it should fit yours just fine.

The cable and sliders are replaceable and don't cost much to replace. If it was my girlfriend I'd make her buy me the JDM climate control because I'm a jerk like that. I don't know how you are with girls but I treat them like prostitutes.

Ever since I installed the climate control the slider knobs have been really stiff. The heater control cable is a real pain in the ass to adjust.
