Default what is normal operating temp?

What is the normal operating temp for a teg? I replaced my thermostat the other day and now the needle goes to right before the temperature icon in the middle of the temp gauge (about 45% of the way). Is this normal or am I running a little bit hot? I mean, it's only been like 35-40 degrees here so I'm just worried that once it gets warmer outside I will start overheating...

Default Did T-Stat today and...

my guage reads just below half way. Actual temp is 175 with an infrared temp probe. It was barely going above the lowest line before and the heater was not very hot so I knew t-stat was stuck open. Hope this helps.

1/4 to 1/2 way is "normal," it varies car-by-car. Don't worry about it yet.
