For a GSR, the torque spec is 7.2 ft/lbs.

There are 3 things that could have happened:

1. The bolt was already stressed at that point, and snapped.
2. Your torque wrench isn't accurate.
3. You kept turning the torque wrench after it clicked.

well have any of you guys had a bolt snap in the head and if you did, did you use any thing else besides an ez-out set or did you just take it to a machine shop

yeah i had one snap off there, after trying everthing I came with the sweetest solution. I just took the top half that snaped off and used it to grab the piece that was left and unscrew it. As long is it broke off with a somewhat jagged edge this will work pretty well. Really, once you break a bolt off there no load on it and it will unscrew very easily once you can get a grip on it.

Im not sure an EZ out is the way to go, in order to use one of those you have to drill a hole in the bolt and that bolt is hardend, and surrounded by aluminum.
