It won't.

Run the turbo with the 3" pipe and a filter and then take a drive without any intake piping and I guarantee you will notice no difference in spool time.

seems easier then cuting and welding a flnge in there. i think it would look more crappy then doing it the othe rway but i dont know if its hard or not to wled a flange on there

It is like $50 to have the flange welded on. I think it would just look cheesy if you decide to stick that pipe in there instead of weld the existing pipe.

must i use aluminum pipe? all the shop around here sell steel. id rather use alum.

You can use either. You just have to make sure the BOV flange is the same material.

most/if not all are aluminum right, better for heat dispersment?

Yes. I have seen steel ones and they work fine too.

wouldnt the air be colder running through aluminum though. im doing this once and i wanna do it right. i can get alum. pipes online im sure butthere probably more $

Yes rus, the aluminum will be cooler and it will also be lighter. Not sure about the BOV flanges though.
