Default LS upgrades

In retrospect I would recommend the following. I just went thru this with
my son's 95 teg. I think you need to make the decision of working on the
motor or suspension first, so that you may do a good job with either one.
If you take on both at the same time, you'll run out of money and do only
a half assed job on both.

Believe me, it always costs more than you originally think. Our car had
160,000 miles and was tired, using 1 qt of oil every 2 tanks of gas. We
chose to buy a new rebuilt LS motor that was set up to receive a turbo
system eventually. The motor plus shipping cost me $1800.00 and the
install will cost another $500.00. The upside is that we'll have a new
engine that will last along time if taken care of properly.

If you want the name of the shop that set us up, please feel free to ask.
He seems to be an honest guy and believe me they are sometimes
hard to find in this forum.

Good Luck,
