Default problem calibrating TPS?

My b18b came with a TPS, but the plug part was snapped off. I had a extra d15 motor that had a TPS on it that i removed and put on the b18b. I found the directions to calibrate at .45v at idle between the red and green wire. Is this correct? At idle im not getting any voltage at all, and my CEL is for TPS circuit A low voltage. I get voltage between the red or green wire and the yellow, but not the red and green wire alone.
Does it matter that the sensor is off a d15 or what am i doing wrong here. And i know how to use a DVM
