Oil in GSR
How many quarts of oil do you guys put in your GSR's.thanks

My Helms says 4.2 quarts, but I probably add closer to 4.5 quarts.

do 3 check dipstick then add 4th as needed

damn i thought it was 5 and thats how many i used when i did my oil change.

a little over ~1/2 qt wouldn't make a terrible difference... but it will have u burning oil until you even out... no big... no damage unless you put like 6-7 qts in

Correct me if I am wrong, but generally speaking. Isn't rule of thumb 1 QT per cylinder?

nope. at lexus we have 6 cyl engines that take 5, 5.2, 6.2, and even 7 quarts. the 8cyls are 6, 6.2 and around 7-8.
