Default B20vtec

Ok here we go again. I have had my setup for about 6 months now. At first seems REALLY slow and I changed everything and still drags. I changed the cat and put one of those bullshit ebay ones. Car pulls harder now. But it seems like it can go faster. A stock ls could stay right one my ass and a stock h22 prelude toasted me like 6 cars. I have a stock b20z bottom, decked b16 head, mild port and polish,GSR cams, fuel rail, B&M FPR, New plugs, oil changed every month, chipped out mugen ecu. Now I don't have an oil catch can, nor the knock sensor hooked up. What do you guys think?

If I run a stock p28 or a p72 it Drags even more.

PS My boy has a stock b20b STOCK EVERYTHING Beating H22 BUbble type s, LSV's all that.

i would take a closer look at your chiped ecu and make sure he isn't actually hindering your performance. Like mabye he was programed to do something that you car doesn't have, or mabye you have something he wasn't programed to do.

Don't know much about the oil catch can, but no knock sensor hooked up? That could be part of your problem in a big way. Your car needs that to run properly.

You are going to need it tuned. That Mugen chip will not cut it for your setup.

If I remember correctly, the mugen proggy will eliminate the ks, therefore no need to wire it up; thus the no cel. Is it a p28 or pr3 containing that mugen chip?

If it is really lagging that much, maybe you should look into the health of the motor before throwing more stuff into it. Get a compression & leakdown test done.
