So i have a 96 ls and just about a week ago i walked out and hit the keyless entry. When i went to open my driver side door it locked all the doors. So i went around to the passenger side and saw that the lock would only unlock half way unless i used the key. But when i turned the car on it would work just fine. It only does this after sitting out for a long period of time. Any ideas?

 

yea it sounds like it isn't getting enough power. this could be a bad battery not supplying enough power or you might have something draining your battery like a light or something staying on. but b/c only one lock isn't going the whole way you may want to see if you can get in there and lube up the locking assembly.

Ok so i went out and checked the volts 12.5 when the car was off and 14.5 when the car was running. I think it might be the wiring i'll look into it later next week. But if you guys have anyother ideas please share
