i had my rear seats, spare tire, all carpeting and paneling out (from the back), and damn was that shit loud...make sure everything is in there properly, and i'd imagine it would work best under the carpeting in your trunk, as well as under and around the backseats/panels

Dynamat for road noise? I thought that was to stop rattling from a subwoofer. Anyway, your post made a keyword, might as well check it out. But yeah, the best way to reduce road noise is to get some soft H-rated tires.

I hope you are not going for speed because that shit is heavy I would say almost 25 lbs for 36 square feet or the bulk kit. And that will not cover the whole floor. Make sure to get as high up on the fire wall as possible! That should cut down on some, not all engine noise. The back of most panels have mat on them to cut down on noise. Your door panels don't do behind your doors also.
