My question is do they dim with your dimmer switch or do they stay bright. It would be nice to turn down the glow on mine for long trips. thanks

Although ricey...I gues...I happen to like indiglo gauges. I don't have mine anymore, but the color was pretty cool. You can use scotch double sided mounting tape to hold your gauges on. If not secure and pressed to the old gauges your needles will stick.

honestly I don't think they are that ricey. My ebay ones have the exact same layout as stock and I like em. Have last about two years w/ absolutely no problems. They have a seperate dimmer knob that controls the brightness, I just adjusted it to what i wanted and stashed it up in the dash.. But if you were creative you could probably wire it through the stock dimmer. I don't even remeber how I wired them now.

What I did was butt the red wire of the gauges to the cruise control button, then I grounded the black to metal. The cruise control button was my kill switch for the gauges. On that note, you could also make a separate kill switch w/a 2 or 3 prong (however many wires you have) kill switch.

can anyone explain to me how to install glow gauges on a 2000 4dr honda accord, i bought some off ebay and thier instructions are lacking. i've heard it can mess up your needles if your not careful and I dont want to do that obviously. so if anyone could give me a step by step I'd appreciate it.

I just took mine out because for one they fade and then look like shit two the tach light went out and I could not see where the needle was.
Mine where wired directly to the dimmer knob. So you could turn down the brightness abit. Most of the gauges havethat little swicth pad that changes colors and controls how bright they are. Make sure to solder them in and then wrap with electrical tape. No other tape with do, most with dry out and fall off. If that happens and the leads touch you could start an electircal fire in your dash. Fun Fun Fun!!!
