hey pat, thanks for the 411 but as was stated in a few posts before, they are 55w bulbs that emit 95w worth of power. Ive take a few electrical classes and the 18ga wire they use CAN support up to 95 watts. If you really care, i can find out the length of the wire, break out my multimeter to test resistance then run a few calculations to find out the EXACT amount of current it is drawing

All I know about raybrig is that they had seriously sick NSX in gran turismo 3...

Although if it is truely a more efficient light bulb (same light as 95w bulb but uses 55w) it will in fact create less heat than a standard 55w bulb. With any light bulb it creates both heat and visible light, so theoretically if it is more effecient than it more of the energy goes into light than goes into heating its surroundings. This is why a flourecent bulb is much cooler than an incendecent bulb.

well since ive done basic bolt ons, modified my IM/tb/cams/valvetrain/gears and im going NA without rebuilding the bottom end, i was content with spending $70 on headlights to give me the white look. Do you people not read previous posts before asking such stupid questions?

i just think spending any money on anything other than OEM replacements is pointless...you say ur more "go" ... yet you spend $70 on headlights.....of course i read your previous posts...but if u weren't contradicting yourself i wouldn't be so confused

Default 95 watt bulbs

I went the same way and mine melted a bunch of wires and created a big
mess. Change them now and save yourself alot of trouble.
