Default rear quarter rust

How much do u think it would cost to get all four spots of the rust cut out and a peice of metal (about 4"x2") welded in place and then painted to somewhat match? I'm just asking for a rough estimate so I don't waste the time of the employ when i take it to the body shop. I was thinkin like $500? Too low? thanks Zach

$500? thats ALOT of work that needs to be done to do that. u need to make the panels match the bodylines almost perfect so a small amout of bondo is only used. plus u gotta weld it w/out getting too hot and warping the original bodypanel. then u gotta prime and paint and blend the paint into the rest of the color of the car.(trust me its friggin hard to do!) everything has to line up or its gonna look like shyt!
