im getting a 1995 GSR does that year gotz a good v-tec engin right?

All GS-R's come stock with a DOHC VTEC engine.

Specifically,
92-93: B17A1
94-01: B18C1

If it was a theft recovery, it may have something different. Pop the hood, it will be obvious.
