stock b18c1 hold 6lbs boost safely?
the smaller the turbo that you get, the happier you will be when related to your horsepower goals, if you want to make 250, get a turbo that maxes out a 300, that way it cuts boost lagg out as much as possible and its cheaper. If you want more than 300 horse power, look into a pair of sleeves.

It bolts right on with no modifications and flows enough for 300 whp, so your statement is really ignorant. Maybe there are people out there that don't want a 350+ hp car....like me.
from the research i've done on several diff kits (greddy, full-race, drag, revhard, turbonetics) i've decided on the greddy kit for several reasons
-makes good midrange power (not 400whp like full-race)
-no need to modify internals unless ur building up a lot
-reliable
-good chance for upgrades but dont need to
-legal in CA (where i live)
so if thats what you were going for....the greddy kit should suit you just fine

yeah okay!! well seeing how i live in cali, and i have to pass smog i really like my greddy kit, and it drops enough horsepower on the ground to the point that car dosen't feel safe..... do some research before making a statement like that.. for street car its more then fast enough period.
Schmoo are there any bolt on turbo kits for a 2001 gsr. The greddy kit advertises for 95-99 I believe. I have a hard time finding a reputable kit for '01 gsr's. any help would be appreciated. i'm only looking for like 220-230 hp to the wheels. thanks

i have a greddy kit on my 01 gsr, u have to have a skunk2 intake mainfold, and then the LS kit will fit your car perfect with no modficatoins
You will need a Skunk2 or equivalent manifold and the LS kit to directly bolt it on to your application due to the differences in downpipe length between the 94-99 GSR and the 00-01 GSR. The LS downpipe will be the same length as the 00-01 GSR downpipe, so you just need a manifold with a higher port entrance to accomodate the LS upper charge piping.
