help me decide on exhaust

Default help me decide on exhaust

OK I can't decide between a rs*r exmag or greddy evo 2. I had the evo2 on my 94 civic coupe and I loved it. I like being able to hear my intake over my exhaust but still want to hear my exhaust while cruising. I never heard the exmag but i heard it sounds great and is VERY quiet. Help me out please thanks Zach

also I think the exhaust note of the skunk2 sounds mean and I was wondering if i would be able to hear my intake over the exhaust with the silencer out. thanks again

skunk exhaust systems are very weak. welds on em break easy. get an hks or apex i system. if you want more ground clearance an hks would be best

not quite sure last time you saw the new Skunk2 exhausts. Anyways, I had a skunk2 mega power exhaust full catback and the thing was fuking loud. I kept the piping and opted for the OBX Twin Loop muffler and it sounds awesome. I have heard excellent things about the RSR exmag and if I did it all over again, I would go with that, because it sounds good and looks even better (stealthy)

What do you want? Straight through or chambered? Chambered will be quieter like the exmag or WS2. I have the WS2 on my GSR and I love it. Best exhaust I ever bought.

yeah got the Exmag. I love it, it is really good exhaust, looks real clean. You gotta love the black finish and chrome tip. yeah it is real quite, but really changes tone when you get on it.

One thing you should know thought only the muffler is stainless steel and even then the welds there are raw steel. A lot of people think it is an entirely stainless exhaust. Despite that I had mine for a year in pittsburgh and it showed hardly any rust. I have heard rumors of people having them rust from the inside out, but that will happen to any exhaust if drive a lot of short trips (<5 min.)

It has a pretty good finish on it, keeps it from rusting. When you first push the car with it you will smell the coating burning a little. But it probably supposed to do that, maybe it cures it. At any rate it the finish looked the same after a year as when it went on, just some minimal rust on the welds.

I have the Thermal Research & Development on my 91 Si Civic. I love it. Its pretty quiet until you get into it & satainless steel throughout. I want the WS2 for my Gs-r.

Ok, well I decided I'm going to take a chance and go with the apexi world sport. It looks stock, CHECK.....sounds good, CHECK.......price is good, CHECK. What more could you want? I'm going to order the exhaust, aem intake, and I'm going to think about skunk2 coilovers and kyb agx struts. THANKS A BUNCH FOR ALL YOUR HELP!!!

You won't be dissapointed w/the WS2. I don't think they make the WS anymore but I could be wrong. Once you run the newness out, a good tone sets in and it gives you a good power gain.
