leak ... taillight or power antenna?
Ok so my shits got a leak somewhere ... i just got done taking out my system, carpet, spare tire, board, and i shop vacced all the water out from down there.
The spot it was the wettest was on the left (drivers side) of the trunk. My trunk seal looks good, and there doesnt seem to be any water in my back window under the panels so i think my back window seal is good too
which leads me to believe its either my left taillight or its the power antenna ... i jiggled the power antenna and it does seem a little loose
what do you guys think?
And do anyone got any tips on taking out all those plastic panels around the taillights and shit so i can get to the tails and antenna ... the trunk carpet waS bitch enough but this look even harder
The car is a 96 ls coupe if that helps.

a) the leak could be all of those things...what i suggest is strip the trunk and see where you can find it coming in from...if you can
b) to take off all those panels....get a small flathead screwdriver...pop off all those little black clips *if its a pin...push it in then use the screwdriver to pop it off*....do the same for all of them...i believe there is about 14 and a couple will crack but as long as u still have the majority of em u wont notice later. i think there might be a 12mm bolt inside of holes right in front of where the antenna is just behind where the seat rests....it's not a fun job to pull those things off considering it's 3 very large pieces...
once you've done that try to trace the water leak ....does it smell like anything? besides mold.
thats about all i can think of at the moment...but im tired...lemme know how it goes and i hope this helped a bit

over the summer i had water all over my trunk and on the floor of the back of my car. its most likely your tail light gaskets. just replace em or make new ones yourself. thats the most common problem with water in the back of the car in second gen integras. if that doesnt work, just clear out the moonroof drains by blowing air through the a frame in the top of the car. dont poke it with anything though, unless you want water commign out from the side columns
