first question is what are your plans down the road...next if you plan on just plan on gettin a little extra go outa it then id do header and exhaust as the next two steps...if you want to go forced induction save the money towards that

Save it for gas. There are really no worthwhile power mods for $400.

You could put it toward a better suspension setup. That would be more worthwhile.

If your not sure what to buy, Just continue saving until you've got a plan and your 100% on what route your going to do. In a few months of researching, you'll piece together what you want to do. Just keep researching and what ever you do, don't buy an intake like everyone and their mother suggest to do first. Figure out your final goal with the car and then work your ways towards that goal.

good place to learn is here:www.howstuffworks.com and search "engine."

another good place to use the search button is here:

you could get intake and a set of springs/shocks for 400...those would both be nice to have...everyone must have intake...shutting off ur car and hearing that last "shhhh" is always nice...fairly cheap too...but if ur saving up for turbo or something in the forced induction section....ur like....1/4 there...so keep saving....it all depends on what you really wanna do

i wouldnt even worry about any sort of fuel management or ecu piggyback system until u have some more serious mods on it....it would be a pointless waste of money

unless you just typed it wrong, I hope you realize that the b18c and b18c1 are the same motor...

I believe what you're thinking (and probably meant to say) was a b18c1 or a b18c5 the c5 is the Type-R engine.

But yea, back to your original question, if I were you I would definatly wait till I knew more about the car and where I was headed with it. Other than that... good luck, drive safe, and have fun... tegs are great cars
