97 integra, stock stereo - hook up AUX adapter to back of stereo?
i just bought a HON-AUX adapter to hook up to my stock 97 integra stereo.. in the back i think theres a 8 pin port to hook up the adapter that can be used for cd changers, but i just want to hook my ipod up to it..
i found a tutorial (http://www.team-integra.net/sections...?ArticleID=130) for removing the stereo so that i can plug in the adapter in the back.. but i was wondering if anyone has done something liek this before? do u know if i have to completely remove the stereo to just plug in the adapter to the back? or is it possible to reach around and plug it in, or are there just a few things i need to remove instead of the whole stereo?
thanks!

if you can fit ur hand in about a 3" metal shard infested gap then yes you can just plug it right in....but u have no visual...and a cage is blocking most of the wiring area, it's 20 minutes to take it all out if you have the right tools...and another 10 to put it all back together...send me a PM if u need any more help..
hope this helps
