Default bad idle and thick black residue

whats UP people? Im new to the forum, actually this is the first time ive ever done ne type of forum ..........I know you guys dont give a shit

well i have a 98 gsr with about 73k miles right now. Had about two over revs in about 1 year. I have bad idling and noticed when i was racing on the freeway i punched it into fourth at about 80 mph and saw some smoke ( i think it was white) from the exhaust. when i drive it hard it smells really rich like hot oil and a little mix of gas.
i had the plugs, wires, and rotoR changed due to 1 2 and 3 cylinder misfire. after replaced, 1 and 2 still have misfire (actron obdII code reader). Burns oil more than usual. and black residue on bumper. WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG???

>>>>STILL GET BETTER THAN STOCK GAS MILEAGE!!! almost 30 mpg

THANKS FOR THE HELP

if i were you i would go ahead and get a valve cover gasket set and a head gasket set usually when you have smoke like that it usually means you have a blown gasket but to be on the safe side call a couple of shops and see what they say

Does it overheat at all?

I would say that your piston rings are shot, but without a compression and leakdown test to confirm, it is just a shot in the dark.

We don't condone street racing on this forum, so I would keep that out of your post in the future.

Welcome to HAN.

If there was a bluish tint to the smoke, you're likely burning oil. How much oil do you go through? VTEC motors commonly burn oil if you are in VTEC a lot, it's normal. When you pulled the plugs, did they look fouled from oil?

i burn about 1 quart every 3000 miles. I know that this is much more than I usually burn before the over revs. the plugs were fairly new about ~ only 5k miles on them and they were stained gray and black.
