GS gas mileage - overdrive?

Any thoughts on improving gas mileage on my 92 GS automatic. Highway driving revs pretty high (3k plus). Wish there was overdrive but not sure the 1.8 litre could hadle it. Appreciate any ideas. George

uhh dont rev high?

o yea, the G2 only is 4sp auto...yea just keep it easy on the gas

and i thought there was overdrive does your stick thing have that S4 button on the side of it?
