hey i was wondering, just by looking at an integra, how could you tell if it was a type-r or not (other than itrs have 5bolt patterns)

 

ITRs don't have a sunroof and the 5-lug (which can be swapped onto almost any other Integra or Civic).

 

if you can see the interior there are some diff. and no sun roof and five lug the dont have the side moldings some dont have a rear wiper at all no plug

 

and ITR's only came in black, yellow, and champ white

98-01 came with wipers

i've also heard that theres no arm rest in the middle between the front seats

 

also the interior dash pieces have a unique carbon fiber appeal.

 

the 97 dont have the carbon fiber on them

 

huh. didnt know that, my bad.

 

98's dont have them either. I belive that started in 2000.

Another quick identifier is the projection headlights.

There is an armrest-has an ITR plaque on it. However, JDM DC2 ITRs have no center armrest, and US ITRs can be modified to having no armrest by swapping the JDM center console.

 

all 3rd gen integras have projection headlights...not just the type-r
