The Exedy stage 2 clutch is rated at being able to handle up to around 400hp (somewhere around there) What kind of power are you looking to make, and will you be boosting, supercharger, all-motor?

LS motors love boost! Best bang for your buck would definitely be turbo. I wouldnt even think twice about it. Just make sure the motor is in good, clean condition before you do anything, considering it is a 91. good luck dude.

Best bang for your buck is nitrous, hands down.

As for the clutch, I'd get an ACT HDSS...heavy duty pressure plate, full faced organic street disc. I love mine, and many others have the same setup. I'm not a big fan of exedy clutches, I've seen lots grenade in boosted applications.

ACT HDSS is a great clutch no doubt about it. I was just stating about the Exedy clutch, cause that's what he was looking into. I personally have an ACT 6-puck Clutch waiting for me in Cali

Here's a vendor I found for clutches. This page is for the 1.6 engines.

He's really looking for clutches that will be beneficial to him to hold good amount of power. Those are like OEM replacements.
