Default idle surging = pissing me off

heres the deal. my idle keeps jumping from about 1100-1600rpm during idle. i cleaned out my IAC valve really well and the surging stopped for about a day. then the shit came back!! could it be that i have a bad IACV? i heard that the ECT sensors go bad on these engines and it causes them to surge like that. help me out guys!

unfortunately you can't fix this valve but you can only replace it. it's not expensive either.
