Default did more work...saw no results

I changed the ignition coil today, thinking that maybe that was the problem. Nope. Now I think it may be the starter or the O2 sensor. For the last 4 days, I havent been able to start it at all. Yesterday, it started but its emitting a white fuel scented exhaust. The idle is also very high ( at 3000 in idle). One of my questions is if anyone knows where I can get a good diagram of my engine etc. Cause as far as I can see, it's going to a big pain in the butt to do. Also, I was wondering if anyone knows why it would be idling too high. Is that maybe because something is stuck open, so there's not enough O2 entering my engine? Thanks

the o2 sensor is located on the exhaust system and basically reads teh quality of the exhaust. the ecm then adjusts the fuel settings for a cleaner burning exhaust. so i doubt this would cause your car not to start. when they go bad, they usally throw a code.

what makes you think its the starter? did you test the icm like LT suggested?
