the only logical bussinessman fix would be to replace the cam at no charge. but that would require you to buy an exhasut cam and pay for shipping. but other than that he can bacially say you cheated him if he wanted to really say it

Do what is ethical. How would you want to be treated in this matter? If you wouldn't mind getting fucked them fuck him, but if not, do what is right. Ask him what he would like to see doen and then negotiate if needed.

Well, i sent him an email a little bit ago offering to pay him $50 back...and i didn't ask for the cam. No response as of yet. I think that seems like a fair deal though.

Ok, so this was the guy's response to my offer:

Well, I was thinking something like... $291 for both cams... so each cam was supposedly $145.50. Giving me back something like $100 would mean i bought the type-R one for 145 and the other one for around $50. Tell me what you think. Thanks.
I'm really not feeling this though...I can see maybe giving him $75 max but even then I feel like I'm really getting screwed in the deal. Also, as a side note, in my auction I made clear no refunds or returns. But then again, I didn't foresee this happening either...Should I just ask for them back or what?

Yeah ask for your money back. The worst thing he could do is give you 1 neg feedback and it could be replied to. So ohh well get it back and resell it. Goodluck.

Anybody have any bad luck with doing this? I'm afraid he's going to not send them/send me a different set back or something, after I send him his money...

I'm just thinking this guy isn't gonna send them back until he sees his money. I mean, I don't think he will have enough faith in me to send them back without any sort of refund first...
