ok so when i hit the brakes the lights in the dash came on, then i removed a bad bulb and it stopped then i went to put in the new bulb and it started doin it again, only this time only one brake light comes on when i turn all the lights on all the tail lights come on but still only one side lights up, and the side the brake light doesnt come on seems to be overly bright, suggestions?

sorry if this seems confusing, im beginning to get very frustrated with my car
