Cleaned out the box. I didn't even realize it was full.

No wonder I haven't gotten a PM in over three weeks. h:

GSR only handle 250WHP, i was hoping 300 on stock internals. Heard this was ok.....What can a Type R handle?

To tell you the truth I have seen a 300whp b18b on stock internals.

Finally got the b18b in the civic, working out some bugs. Im going to see how i like this setup and hopefully have it boosted within 3-4 months. Later on either build the b18b, ls/vtec or gsr built on boost at 300whp daily driver.

5 lug is running 290 last i heard on a type-r

for anything over 250 it's a better idea to just rebuild an engine, and it has a good chance it might even last longer than if it were stock.

and people are too worried about such things as pistons at 300hp, i'd be more worried about my axles and other drivetrain.

to the original poster:

go www.hmotorsonline.com

their customer service is shit, but the product is 100%

i believe that 290 is at 7psi too. though the type R has 20more HP it has higher compression. so with a lower compression motor....GSR, you can go to 8-10psi and........mabye get to 300+?

again, you'll be breaking more than the motor above 250

I dont believe you can just go by PSI to say what you will put out, a smaller turbo which will provide quicker spool with need higher PSI to make the power , and a bigger turbo which would spool slower would require less boost to make the same power. As well as the tuning and other systems. You could have 2 of the same cars with the same turbo setup and different tuning and fuel systmes and one would make more HP than the other.
(someone correct me if im wrong)

Right now im hoping for a 250whp daily driver, but of course with a boost controller I wont be running what ever psi for 250hp all the time, only at the track probably.
