Default koni shocks question

the first day i got my new shocks i messed around to see how they fit and so on. 2 days later i get ready to install them but i'm missing the rings that go on before the perch for the rear. i dont remember if the rings were even in the box. i'm pretty mad at myself but damn how the hell could i have lost these 2 rings! will it ruin my shocks if i just put the perch on and not the ring. again this is for the ring only

the only thing supporting the perches are those rings, hence you need them. unless i misunderstand what you're asking..

did you pop the rings off? in my case they were already set into place on the shock body and to misplace them, i would have had to remove them.

can you take pics?

Yes you Need them I would either call the plae you got them, or call this guy, Lee Grimes, 859-586-4100 ext316 and ask him to ship you some they are like 5 dollars each.

well CRX lee already said that "for the rear" they are not needed if the underside of the perch has a groove which i believe mine does.
