I was taking out my turn signal lenses yesterday just cause I figured it's easy to take em out and I just wanted to play with them (see how to replace the bulbs, see what's behind them, etc), and I noticed this, but it's only on the driver's side...anyone know what it would be for? The connector itself looks identical to the one for the side signal, but judging by the fact that it's all caked with stuff, it hasn't been used for a LOOOONG time.

Anyone know what it might be?

and it looks exactly the same as the plug for the light on the side of the bumper light.

i kinda agree with what LT suggested though...with the fog lights...

It looks like the cover can come off. I would take it off and see what it was, but thats just me.

basically, if i wanted to, i could plug it into where the side turn signal is...that's what i meant when i said "it looks exactly the same as the plug for the light on the side of the bumper light"

 

does it look like it was wired in after the factor? maybe someone wanted to add sidemarkers?

 

it doesnt really look like it...the wire for it goes into the small wire organizer that the other ones are wrapped in, so it looks to me like it's an option that the original owner didn't get...maybe fogs?

yeah, this car had one owner before me, and it was a chick who took really good care of the thing, so it's def. bone stock...aside from an interestingly placed kill switch...hehe
