so long as you stay away from puddles, you should be okay...go and get yourself the AEM bypass valve for the CAI...it's $40 of insurance that could, and is made to, save your motor.
I HIGHLY recommend getting one since you have a CAI. Check out what it looks like (in my car):

all you really have to do is cut your CAI into two pieces (I ended up cutting a 1.5" piece out of it) and put it in

In the winter/rain months I short ram it and when spring/summer rolls in I extend it w/o the bypass valve. I had the bypass valve on my car and ended up returning it because I felt like my car was sucking air from two outlets and I was losing power. If you do a search on the bypass va;ve you will find a lot of gripes on it. It only works if the filter becomes submerged. Like covering your mouth and then breathing through your nose. Other wise it breathes through both until the mouth/filter becomes snuffed.
during winter i put my short ram intake on and take my cai off... but besides snow you should be fine... i have never had a problem with water (yet) but if you want to be on the safe side i recommend aem's bypass valve
