Default gsr driving erratically

My '94 GSR seems to be having an issue with shaking at speeds from like 40 mph and up. Also, the car seems to pull a bit erratically to the left or right, mainly when braking at low speeds. The steering also feels strange sometimes, like it will go from being really tight to feeling really loose ( which happens mainly on the highway). Any suggestions as to what might be the culprit? I am thinking it may just be a combination of improper wheel balance/alignment/possibly brakes? I've had the car for a little over a year now and this stuff just started happening within the past couple weeks.

One of your wheel weights might've fallen off. Sounds like balance and maybe your tie rod bushings. You may want to take this to a front end shop and have them diagnose it.

The model year, shaking under braking, and change from tight to loose at higher speeds is what makes me think your tie rod bushings might be getting a little worn. The crazy shake is more than likely wheel balance, but if this car has ever been in an accident where the frame had to be put in its place, you might have bigger fish to fry.

Good Luck.

the pulling under breaking could also be an issue with one or more of the brakes (rotors/pads/calipers)...might wanna check those.

Also, I noticed a while back that my front left sway bar end link was unattached but it never seemed to really be a problem. Could that be a big factor in all this too? How hard is it to replace?

Well, needless to say it should be attached. Is this the upper or lower front sway bar?
