At least I try to be civil.

My roomie, with a second gen (DSM) GST, bought some fibreglass Z3 fenders. He cracked them three times during fitment alone.

if you are running on a track and every oz of weight matters, then cf fenders might be to think bout. Since you ask "Are those cool?" that tells me you dont need them.

I love my Integra but I really can't stand the teenage tuner culture.

Plan on tuning so they buy a 4-banger... ????
Dump thousands into expensive chrome-tipped carbon fiber mods that only make the car as fast as the straight-6 they should've gotten in the first place...
Then promptly overshoot a turn and kill or injure themselves and/or others in a fiery accident due overconfidence and lack of skill.

Invest in a driving school if you're serious, or just go buy a new Chevy Cobalt if you're not.

I was just being sarcastic. I do have VIS carbonfiber hood though, but that is as far as I'll go on the CF.

If you ever become so desperate to save weight, tube frame the front and use a fibreglass one-peice front end.

as well as replace the rest of the body panels with CF, replace windows with plexiglas, gut the interior, and get 8lb 15" wheels...

In the end:

1. Z3 Fenders are beat like a mouthy crack whore
2. Carbon Fiber looks great if you need to replace something OEM (like my hatch cover)
3. Fiberglass anything is going to break often. Buy some bondo and play the waiting game.
4. Even the actual BMW Z3 is ugly... Why would you want to mimic it?
