Default Trans RPM Test

Hey, I just wanted to test out a subtle difference if anyone out there will indulge me in an experiment.

I run a B18C1 with an LS trans and at 70mph my RPM is at 3250 in 5th gear.

Anyone that could run their purebred GSR (B18C1 with GSR trans) at the same criteria (70mph in 5th gear) and let me know their RPM would have my thanks. Just complete the below table.

B18C1+LS @ 70MPH in 5th = 3250RPM

B18C1+GSR @ 70MPH in 5th = _____ RPM

Thanks for any help you all could offer

according to this gear ratio chart, it should be around 3400. all depends on the size tire.

Does that table consider an unmodified GSR?

A modified GSR will have the same RPMs unless you have messed with the gear ratios. The only thing that matters is if you are using the stock diameter for wheels (as this affects your speedometer and acts as a final "gear" so to speak)

gear ratios dont change per modification. you just get to those speeds faster with more mods.
