Default Crank Pulley Nut Problem

I am installing some pulleys and i can't get the crank pulley nut off. I used my air gun that I had hope for but it failed. So I just want to know if anyone has runned into this problem before and what their solution was. Should I try a bigger gun.

a big compressor and a 500ftlb impact gun did the trick for me, although it did take like 2 minutes of constant pounding....
