Every member has the ability to share their location by filling out a box in their profile settings.
And all attempts for a "national" meet have failed miserably.
To give you a better idea of where people are coming from, I'd like to suggest this link: http://myguestmap.lorca.eti.br/guest...fter&locale=en

So let's act like it.

Now.. to answer the question of where I'm from...
h:
Originally from Portland, Oregon.
Born on a date I'm not willing to disclose to you young whippersnappers.
I left Portland at the age of 5 (with my parents, obviously) and moved to Mill Valley, California to attend elementary, junior high and high school.
Graduated from Tamalpais High School, class of 1997. Dabbled in automotive design for a year at the Academy of Art College in San Francisco, but soon realized that wasn't my niche. Spent about 2yrs in retail purgatory, then attended College of Marin, leaving with two AA degrees in May 2005.
In general, Mill Valley is a little town about 10 mins north of San Francisco, across the Golden Gate Bridge. A great place to grow up and figure out what you're going to do with your life.
h: And in terms of vehicles...prior to owning my DC4, I had a 1991 VW GTi 16v.
In total, I lived in Mill Valley for 20 years, almost to the day.
In August of this year, I moved down to Northridge, California. I'm about 5 miles east of I-405, and about 3 miles south of Hwy 118. I'm attending California State Northridge as a transferring Junior. In two years, I'll have my BA in journalism to accompany the two AA degrees I have now.
So there you have it.
What's your story?

Before purchasing my car, I went into all kinds of forums, and out of all of them, so far, all the Honda and Acura ones seem to be very uptight and conservative. I don't understand. I am 23, young and full of life. As far as me being ignorant, I beg to differ. I am a current college student with a 3.75 GPA and very business oriented. Oh I forgot to mention I am majoring in Accounting (CPA). I own a house and live very comfortably. My understanding of forums was that they were supposed to bring people together that shared a commonality to create friendships and share tips with one another. So far I have seen very little of it. When I had the carfax and autocheck ability, I would do requests for people on the forum. here it is like a sin to even ask about such a thing, stereo security codes, etc. I apologize if I have offended anybody, but I just don't see the love. I am also aware that I am a new fish in a big pond of veterans that have been on here before me. I just felt I should state my opinion so that maybe somebody can see where I am coming from. Then again there might be some that will choose be ignorant and make smart remarsk after reading this. Thank you for your time, if you read my reply.
