Default i know something is wrong with my brakes, but dont know what part

when i driving slowly or fast i can hear a lous hissing noise for a little then it stops and then starts when i start to drive again, im not sure it its the brake pads or my rotors? any one know what the problem might be, i know my brkae pads are going out pretty soon, they start to make the screech noise a little also. but that noise i know how to fix, but the hissing noise im not sure.

it still might be your brake pads...does the noise get louder/more intense as you go faster? or is it more like if you're moving then it's there, but if you're stopped, then it's gone?

if you have a pneumatic jack or some easy way to get one or more of your wheels off the ground, try doing that and manually turning each wheel, and see if you can make that sound come back. this will also help you isolate it to a corner.

yah when im driving it makes that hissing noise, but if i stop or slow down like 5mph it stops. i can also hear my brake pads screech but there not as loud as the hissing noise.

well when the brake pads start screeching it is a sign that the pads are worn out.

Just becuase your car is hissing doesnt necessarily mean its the brakes. It could be soomething else. What do you mean by a hissing noise? Can you be more specific? Your description is a little vague.

Were your rotors warped?
