camber kit install
i installed my camber kits today. i have h&r sport springs and 17's. the tires on the 17's are shot. i have had them on for a year with terrible camber. i took the wheels off today to start putting on my kit and i looked at the drivers front tire on the inside(where it was worn) and it had been cut it looked like. you could see the belt and everything. i know what is cutting it. it is about in the middle of the wheel well on the top. it is a little lip that comes down.
can i cut this off!?!? i hope so because i have potenzas on now and i cant shell out 170 a tire all the time. i need some solutions please people.
thanks in advance

well... no1 has replyed so....
i had a alignment done on my car at 7:30 this morning. it is unreal how much camber and toe mean on cars. my car handles much better but it still hits up in the fender well when i hit a bump pretty hard while turning. also i got a new set of potenzas.
do yall think it could be the control arm hitting up there or that little lip?

Don't cut that flange off altogether. It's part of the unibody and it's absolutely needed.
Instead, make a series of cuts 90° to the flange edge. What you want to do is make a series of tabs that you can pound flat against the inside edge of the wheel well. (Toward the centerline of the car)
That will give you the space you need and maintain the integrity of that joint.
