sup people. i recently recived my short block b18c1 block that was being built. after i got everything back together i noticed there was a stainless steel type cylinder about an inch long and an inch in width left over.WTF is it. i know its from the block b/c it was in the box that i recived my stuff. and ideas!!!!!!!!!!

PS: I hope to God that it is a spare.. They may have included it as a reference if they milled your head. When you mill the head, you have to mill the dowels to the same measurement or the dowels will lift the head above the block preventing proper gaket sealing.
