Default Integras # 1 stolen vehicle

Well everyone as the title reads we own the most admired vehicle in the USA. I read in the new Honda Tuner that something like 2.3% of insured Integras are stolen through out the US. I hope all of us own a damn good alarm.

actually my car pisses me off so much that i wouldnt mind getting it stolen. it's easier than putting it for sale or getting screwed by a trade in.

my damn alarm/remote starter (yes i have an automatic, which i have to settle with, i really wanted a manual!!!!) fried out the second day i got it!! i couldnt start my car before school, it made my fan run all night and drain my battery!

overall i spent $324, gettting my whole alarm ripped out of my car and a new thermostat relay

and $75 for a new battery

that might have been off subject but i think this subject has been covered before, damn car boosters

would be a cool profession, if i was really good at it....

Kind of an old article but it backs up what has been posted..http://www.cnn.com/2002/US/05/15/stolen.cars/?related
Glad I got an alarm with an ignition kill, but it only stops the amatures and not the pros..Oh well, I guess that's what insurance is for..

My 98 GS-R got stolen, even with ignition kill. They found it in Sacramento, (stolen from Davis), completely stripped, engine and everything, including the stock clock on the dash. Good thing I had full insurance on that, but no more Integ to play with. Ironic thing is that i just finished reading the CNN article a few days before it got stolen.

Especially in the California/New Jersey areas.

When you check ebay motors half of the Type-R's and GS-R's for sale are theft recoverys.

I just hold out the door handle and press on that little shiny switch. That usually does the trick....Ah yes, one of the benefits of the midwest.

Just because you live in the midwest it doesn't mean that your car won't get stolen....Theives like people that think like you do..Invest in a good alarm.
