Yes, another eBay header question. Please do read on. I hear and hear about poor weld quality of these headers. Is the weld quality the only thing that is wrong with these type of headers? Will these give roughly the same power gain as a name brand header? My uncle has his own welding shop and will make flawless welds for me if that is all that they need.

Yea they will all give around the same gains depending on 4-1 or 4-2-1

they are replicas of the brand name companys. quality and reliability? fall short of the brand named ones. they are made cheap and most likely will crack in time

they also do not carry a carb eo number which for almost all of us is as good as gold!, but never the less i am selling my comptech 4-2-1 single stainless steel, header which is one of the best on the market so if u are intrested hit me up, and what model and year teg do u have?

Actually a cheap ass header can get you more gains than an expensive one with the right metal work. Providing of course that it is of a good design. It's not all about flow, but having a smooth center is pretty important.

header is all about increasing the flow! that is why a header versus your exhaust mainfold has larger ports, and made usually out of stainless, and is routed in way to have more flow out of the cyclinders
