i have an 1995 integra rs. ive been having trouble shifting. like when i want to go to first gear or want to reverse..it doesnt go in. sometimes i need to force it in or wait. is there something wrong with the clutch.. someone help meeeeee

 

how may miles on the clutch? sounds burnt out to me

 

my car has around 74000 miles and i bought it used

 

sounds like you need to put clutch fluid .. that's what happened to me.

 

Used to happen to my GSR sometimes..
when it won't go in.. let the clutch back out in neutral, and the press the clutch back down, it ought to pop right in...
let us know if it does that... mine was doing that and my clutch just went..
142k miles on mine though... so idk.

meh I dont think its a big deal, when the cars been parked for a while and i try and put it in reverse it wont go all the way, all i do is release the brake a little and it goes right in.

 

Well I would change the clutch, and since you are already doing that it would be best to change your flywheel also, less stress later in life

 

do you think that if i get a new shifter...that it would make it better?

 

dont count on it

 

i have the same problem with my car, i think it's just the transmission
