If your cat is rusted out he prolly told u to put that on there to keep it from falling apart or something. It kinda looks like that stuff u would use to fix holes in the exhaust but i dont know. Better hope its not like cement or it might be kind of hard to scrape off. If u got the money just replace the whole thing with a cat back and high flow cat.

WTF's that? whats "temp." mean? u mean temporary? What got worst? What was your problem in the first place?

I think it ment temerature. I don't know what or why that is there.

it's temporary till she can find a better soloution.. lookst o me like an entire section of you exhaust is rusted, i'd say replace as much as you can

With all that junk on there, we can't see what the problem was to begin with. If your cat is rusted out like he said, it's time for a new cat. But, we don't know why he put that stuff on there, or what it is.

temp. solution for what? rattling? what was the original problem?

also, that doesn't look like the joint at the cat. it looks to me like the joint at muffler and midpipe, but the picture isn't all that clear. did a hole rust through the pipe? is that what that plaster is there for? either way, it's a mess. you probably should start thinking about replacing your exhaust.

please reply with more info.
