when i put my teg in gear it grinds wat can that be i put it in drive it grinds and reveaseit grind plaese help me do i need to chage the tranny

 

same here grinds on my 91 teg 2 something u could try is changing the tranny oil use synthetic shit i tryed it helped for a while but still grinds maybe itll fix ur problem our cars use 10w-40 motor oil as tranny oil and if not maybe its ur clutch i changed my clutch already but it still grinds for a new clutch thier cant be anyother explenation other then the tranny so ya anyone else now any possibilties to me and ABW'S problem

 

do you guys change your own manual transmissions and clutches? I am considering taking on this task in a 92 teg

 

transmissions are a pain to work on

 

if u are considerin changin ur own clutch its a hassle i didnt really do much i helped here and thier but mostly my frnd did it fow me and even with us 2 took like 5 days a lil here a lil dier and ran into some road blocks but it is a hasslle but if u kan save 200 bucks why not as long as u got the time to put into it then it should be somethang u kan acomplish. jus needs alot of time and pactionts
