fuel pressure
when i accelorate hard my car smokes, i have been told by several people this is caused by the car running rich. if this is so can i adjust the fuel pressure to correct? and if i can do so is the stock fuel pressure regulator adjustable?and how do do it?
What color is the smoke?
Are you missing oil when you change your oil?
If it is a stock engine, it is highly unlikely it is running rich enough to cause smoke. Sounds like toasted piston rings to me.
The stock fuel pressure is not adjustable and putting an adjustable fuel pressure regulator isn't going to help the problem. You would need something to lean out the fuel ratios like a VAFC, but I find it would be highly improbabable that you are running overly rich.

the motor is stock and the rick condition is what acura mechanics told me. they also said the rings should be fine that all honda motors smoke when u accelorate hard, it uses oil but not as much as the amount of smoke i have seen.

Easiest to find out if your car burning oil or not is a compression check to see the rings condition. And in order to adjust the fuel pressure you need to get an adjustable fuel pressure regulator to do so. Good luck...I hope your car i simply running rich and not the rings are out and need to be replaced.....
