Default Question about Aftermarket Shocks

I'm considering getting aftermarket shocks but I wanted to keep my stock springs on. Are all aftermarket shocks fairly stiff? and how would they perform with my stock springs?

Would it just be better to get the shocks with the 4 settings of stiffness?

Does anybody know how aftermarket shocks with stock springs would make my car ride?

If you are going throught the trouble to change the shocks and strut inserts, why not get the springs too? Labor is the same, and it would be very helpful to performance. I like KYB shocks myself.

Well I have a buddy who will put them all in for me for $100 so I'm not worried about any labor. I don't really want to lower it because Integra's are fairly low stock and the areas i drive aren't very low car friendly.

Yea I was considering the .75 drop but cash is a lil tight right now with school. I was trying to see if I could get away with just doing the shocks.

I say save your money and do them both at the same time, then get an alignment.
